The swords represent the remnants of Anjara - the Physical players who came in anticipating to dominate challenges. They also represent the strong army of Jordan, which works with the United Nations to promote peace around the world.
The book and pencil represent the remnants of Karak - the Mental players who came to use their strategic and thoughtful minds to win challenges and plan out their game. They also represent Jordan's love for science and technology - the countries fastest developing economic sector, for without this, they would struggle to keep up with the world.
The Arabic food represents the remnants of Madaba - the Social players who arrived with the thought that their friendliness could bring them through the entire game. They also represent Jordan's traditional food preparation, which is the epicenter of social gatherings and family.
The blood dripping off the swords represents the lies and backstabbing that has, and has yet to, occur in this vicious game of iSurv1vor.
Uhibboki - our tribe name. Arabic for "I love you". Symbolic of how many project themselves onto others in face to face situations, yet the blood on the sword is close by for a backstab is not far behind.
The blood dripping off one sword and tribe name together represent Al-Salt, the Emotional players. The sword without blood is representative of Amman, the Other players. Not necessarily classified into the emotional category, but still present and noticed.
My thought process behind this was to represent the "Brains, Brawn, Beauty"/"Mental, Physical, Social" aspect of the very beginning of this game, but also portray the "Emotional" side as well. I wanted all representations of these to be symbolic of Jordan, as well as of our tribe. I chose the name Uhibboki because 1) I think it sounds cool, and 2) it's really indicative of how this game is. One minute someone is loving on you and swearing up and down that they are 100% with you, and next thing you know they are turning their back on you and throwing you under the bus. I wanted to portray all of these elements in my crest, while still having a cohesive, clean look.
I hope you like it!
