We're here in the Wadi Rum Desert, seven thousand miles east of the United States.
This protected area covers seven hundred and twenty square kilometers of dramatic desert wilderness south of Jordan. Huge mountains of sandstone and granite engulf this space, and emerge from wide, sandy valleys that reach heights of over seventeen hundred meters.
The narrow canyons and fissures of this area cut deep into the mountains, and conceal primitive carvings from the earliest of civilizations, etched over a millennia ago and survive to this day.
The ancient folklore of this region believe ghouls haunt the desert upon sundown, capable of constantly changing form, concealing their true nature in search of distracting travelers with one purpose - consuming flesh.
It is here that the twenty-eighth season of iSurv1vor will take place! Fifteen brand new castaways are being escorted to a clearing where they'll begin the game and compete for the title of Sole iSurv1vor, they have already been divided into three tribes based on the qualities it takes to win.
Each tribe will be home to a veteran of the game who will fight alongside you throughout this online adventure. You already know them, as you previously ranked them to be part of your tribe.

Welcome to iSurv1vor: Jordan!
This is a first for the series because you're about to be joined by coaches, these legendary players of seasons past who have earned their spot back into the game. Between them they share expert knowledge of iSurv1vor, the challenges, the day-to-day life and more importantly they're valuable resources as you learn the ropes.
Let's meet your Coaches!
Ricky was an expert in manipulation and persuasion in iS: India, where he enjoyed playing a strategic heavy game before being taken out as an Untouchable. After returning for a second shot in iS: Macedonia, he was viewed as too big a threat and was taken out before leaving his mark
Nicole was a force to be reckoned with in iS: India, with her physical prowess which saw her reach the merge and be immediately voted out the moment she was vulnerable. Her skill in challenges saw equally strong performances in iS: Japan, and iS: Macedonia, but always fell short of the title.
Mandy is from a generation of old-school iSurv1vor who fell short of winning in iS: The Greek Isles, becoming the first player to win the Final Immunity Challenge but not the game. Her return in iS: Botswana, cemented her skills as one of the most likeable players across the series.
What remains to be seen right now is what the Coaches will actually do this season and their role will work similar to how the Monarchy of this country works
The Monarchy of Jordan remains relatively embryonic, since 1921 only five Kings have ruled this land but have departed the throne due to abdication and assassination. Failing to lead their people has resulted in dire consequences in the past and hopes that a new King could lead them to a brighter future. This will be explored in-depth as your tribes are treated as individual monarchies.
These Coaches will enjoy the spoils of war and aim to keep your tribe happy with rewards and making choices on your behalf, but that only works if you keep winning. If your tribe loses Immunity, Coaches cannot be voted out at Tribal Council, and after every torch is snuffed a decision must be made as to which direction leadership on your tribe will head.
And this is just the start of your thirty-nine day adventure!
This season will test their skills like no other, as all assumptions are cast aside for a new evolution in the game. The key ideologies of outwit, outplay and outlast will be pushed further than ever before! Forced to work together to create a new online society, whilst battling the elements and each other. These castaways must learn to adapt or they'll be voted out of the tribe. In the end only one will remain to claim the title of Sole iSurv1vor.
How will the new players handle the pressure? And will the coaches survive the pressures of leading by example whilst living under constant scrutiny?
The journey is about to begin...
39 DAYS... 3 COACHES...
18 PEOPLE...
1 iSURV1VOR!
