Yeah I agree I don't get why everyone is giving Ricky all the power play the game for you ! I was shocked at that Mandy has always been headstrong and independent .I wanna see a shift in power or see Ricky winning this game. Ricky has that way about him. It is the way he talks to you, makes you feel important, the let's meet up, can't wait to meet you, you are the coolest person in the game mentality he brings to all his private conversations. Playing against this kid, I wanted to meet up... to punch him in the face... but watching as a viewer, I love this kid. It worked on me briefly during India at the beginning and then I never let it work on me again after the Fei vote. But he's an amazing player. It's also part of why I desperately wanted him gone from AS3 before it even began. He's scary as fuck to play with. Lol.

I don't understand the minds of people who fall for Carlos' shit. I don't even feel like he is that charismatic to be able to pull off what he pulls off. I feel like his personality is so jarring. I don't think if I was a player I would be able to just automatically click with him, I would really have to work to find common ground and make sure he thought I was on his side.

It's absolutely no surprise that the newly built Amman tribe won Immunity, Ricky is undoubtedly a great leader and people listen to him because (from a player perspective) he appears to be very transparent with his reasoning and logic. Al-Salt straight out the gate looked like a tribe built to lose - right away you have a majority where the players who have been safe in the past scrape a second place spot for immunity in Anjara whilst Madaba may have come first in one immunity challenge they've been under the radar and aren't making themselves a target which would be a good thing but as it stands they're lost with me. I need to see more of them than just Mandy and Reynolds.
For the uninitiated Dylan and Nicole met during the twentieth season in Fans vs Favorites 2: Japan as "favorites" and have been dating for a little over a year. Now that they're on Al-Salt the theory is that Dylan can help Nicole recover from her lackluster leadership on Anjara now that she has her boyfriend getting involved with the politics of voting. This can really strengthen their position on Al-Salt and if they want to make a move all it takes is for Nicole to play her Salvation Cup successfully.
Looking at the newbies there isn't one real standout aside from Jay. I remember during casting looking at him thinking that he isn't going to last very long and that he's probably one of the first few out - and then Jay got cocky. People may be quick to critique the players being under the radar and not wanting to make many waves early on (A GREAT FKN STRATEGY. LEARN FROM THESE GUYS) Jay serves as an antagonist and what's more important is that he is wanting to build up his reputation so when there is a merge or he comes back from Redemption he already has a track record, people knew he's a stirrer and that's incentive to keep him around deep into the game because he's always the bigger threat. He's definitely showing potential as a Villain and under the right circumstances I can see Jay really impacting the season rather than the Facebook group.

No!!!! I am caught up on some confessionals... all I can say is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Here I thought Izzy was going to reveal some good stuff in her 872 confessionals... but good for her for going to the beach.
I am kind of on the edge of my seat here, waiting for the rest of the votes.
I think this is the round that is going to open up the game...
Glad to see Steph is starting to play though. Loved the graphs!

Amman is continuing Karak's winning streak, with Coach Ricky in charge. It must feel good to be pulled in under his wing, snuggled into that stars and stripes tank top, feeling that safety before he cuts off your oxygen (or gets his inmates from the Asylum to do so). That's how Jay's feeling this week. Ricky suddenly wants to be his buddy. King Jay powertripping. Will the vote-off at Al-Salt be a wake-up call for him? Or will he continue his confidence, thinking what happened there will only help him here?
Reynolds and Desiree growing closer. Steph and Izzy in the fold. Desiree keeps trying with Fabi, to pull him from the dark side, but something about a "thick German head" he has.
Desiree looks to be in such a good position now. She just has to be careful to tone down her gender pride, as it's rubbing some of the fellas the wrong way. You can't very well announce in the Tribe Chat that a man has to go next. Will Al-Salt's vote off quench her thirst for male blood?
As for Al-Salt, the biggest confessional posters are Carlos and Davis so I saw the tribe stance from their standpoint, which they figured was the top. Dylan felt he was in the middle. I'm still wading through them to see what exactly happened there. Good for Kate and Mandy that they got one of their biggest threats out, whether they meant to or not (KATE). I am quite bothered by Carlos's tirade against the women, when up until that point, it had been 4 women and 1 man voted off. Really? Why do women scare you so much?
On to Episode 5...

Nicole - I am happily surprised that she gave her Salvation Cup to Mandy! I think she made a good move by doing that, but at least it didn't matter either way. She needs to post more confessionals next episode, because this one was so quiet for her. I think the game will get difficult for Nicole as Dylan stays longer, because of that relationship they have. If Nicole has jealousy over Kate, that is sad, especially since she knows that Ricky is her best friend (still, if I believe). I am glad she did not get dethroned at Tribal Council! Hope to see her do well next episode.
Ricky - I am glad that he won to be honest, and glad to still see him as a coach. His dream team of the merge sounds amazing, but this is iSurv1vor, where anything can happen to anyone, so you never know! I am glad that he is able to communicate with Nicole in a Coach Chat. He is extremely sociable and I am so impressed with him and how he is doing in this game. I wonder how he will lead his tribe for the upcoming Scavenger Hunt!
Carlos - Aww your alliance member was blindsided? I love Davis, but tough shit. He honestly needs to go (Carlos) and I am glad people took an opportunity to weaken him, although I am sad that it had to be Davis, even though I was mad that they are just targeting women. 'May the best blindsider win' even though you have yet to blindside anyone and have already started burning bridges because of your shady personality.
Davis - I am really sorry to see you go! I think if you maybe would have taken a different route and not have worked with Carlos at the swap, then you would have made it farther! You were just one challenge away from doing the Scavenger Hunt, which sucks because I really wanted to see you! I'll miss you Dad! You / Derby are the only two I am rooting for to come back from the Cemetery!
Desiree - I love how good your spot is in this game! You are doing so much better with creating relationships to further yourself. With the duo of her and Izzy, and the support of Ricky, they will do an amazing job in this game if she does not screw herself over. She may need to tone down her outlandish behavior just a bit, because I don't want people to get overwhelmed by her and vote her out early. I am so happy for her and can't wait to see her slay this Scavenger Hunt!
Dylan - Voting out Davis I see. Ah well, I mean it is true, he is guilty by association, but Dylan is everywhere for me to be honest. He always talks about voting one way but talks about two other people and I just think he needs to calm himself down and try to balance out his game more. I am glad he wound up sticking with this vote, rather than voting for either Kate or Mandy, since Davis IS more of a threat, even though I hate to say that. I wonder how he'll do this Episode.
Izzy - She started off slow for me in the beginning of the game, but she has a good spot in this game alongside Desiree and Ricky. She can definitely make it far in this game too like I've said about Desiree, if she does not mess herself up. I hope to see Izzy shine in the upcoming episodes, with how she explained there would be some shit that will unfold some time in the future! Yass girl, give us some entertainment!
Jay - Same old, same old for me. Don't like him, not much to say about him for now.
Kate - I am glad she did not get the axe. I am not sure what she is talking about, but I mean, oh well. Confessionals are a serious thing in this game for everyone to see, you can't expect everyone to let you be silent and play the game, otherwise no one will know your perspective on anything, and four episodes into the game, you should know posting confessionals is a serious thing. I love her but maybe she just had a rough week in general and maybe it will all change in Episode 5. Not sure about the whole 'bullying' situation or anything, but that ain't my business if I don't know it, sooooo...
Mandy - I am so glad that you did not get voted out! I am glad that you are beginning to see how people are and you are making an attempt to show people you are here to play but have fun doing it! Lol, iS in your dreams? Girrrrrl!!! iS will fry you mentally, rip. I am excited to see you perform in the Scavenger Hunt challenge and watch how you do! You will be amazing!
Patia - For now as far as where she is, she seems like a wildcard at the moment. From what people said previously, I hope she does well with the Scavenger Hunt, because didn't she say she'd get a tattoo or something? Anyway, she may be one of the oldest in the game, but that does not mean much to many, I think it matters on how you play and if people are judging you for your age, then I'm sorry. Can't wait to see more!
Reynolds - He is confident, but has a reason to be. He is in a really nice position with Des/Izzy and Stephanie, alongside Ricky. I am laughing so hard at how he explained the situation with 'big cock' and how Stephanie managed to win that challenge! LOL He is one of my favorite guys, so gorgeous babe! <3 You are doing such a good job, nothing more to say at the moment!
Shon - The only thing we share is the intuition of, if someone fucks you over, they'll do it again. I definitely believe in that statement, BUT I do give people chances, but I'm too nice and I've changed that shit up in the last few months. I actually like something about him for once, he was willing to keep Mandy around and understand that with keeping her, that is majority. NICE JOB. And now that I am thinking ahead of time, might as well say I do not hate this guy or anything, it's just how extremely confident he is and the attitude that he gives off but I LOVE him over Carlos/Jay any day of the week. I think he'll make it far in this game, and I am excited to see what he'll do in Episode 5.
Stephanie - She is so sweet! I love her personality and the way she explains things. The whole 'Big Coock' situation made me die. Such a lovely lady, and she deserves to make it far too! I love how she agrees that people who want to go for the long haul are the best situations, because it IS the best situation! I can't wait to see how she does in the Scavenger Hunt challenge, and I think she is in a good spot.

Wrap up thoughts on episode 4 People need brains and need to stop buying into Carlos's BS . Mandy got extremely lucky. Jay is annoying as is Kate they both need to chill.Desi is playing really well this time and I see her doing well if she keeps it up. Izzy and Ricky confuses me a little.I said it before and I'll say it again are they seriously gonna let Ricky and Nicole and now Dylan run things smh.

Still catching up... so I just finished up all of the episode 4 confessionals.
Ricky's leadership and finesse in dealing with his tribe is so impressive to me! Like, he's an awesome coach, but also knows that he is a PLAYER in this game and needs to be actively involved in the game, strategies, and set himself up in a way that will be beneficial to him when he's thrown in the game. I personally like all of the people in the group that he wants to move forward with - Steph, Reynolds, Desi, and Izzy.
STEPH has been one of my favorites since the beginning, but she's really showing up in a big way as the game progresses. I knew that she had fire in there, but just didn't see the need to be a big personality or character unnecessarily in the beginning. She is very perceptive and understands what's going on around her and is low-key a really strong competitor. She's definitely someone to watch out for.
Reynolds is super endearing and naturally gets people to trust him and want to work with him, which is a great skill, but I 100% agree with Ricky when he said that Reynolds being himself will be his biggest downfall. Like, I feel like he's going to self-emplode in some way, maybe not intentionally, but just get himself in a pickle that he can't get out of since she's rather inexperienced, but working a lot of different sides.
It's interesting to watch Desi versus playing with her - I'm really rooting for her to position herself in a way this time so that when she does come off a long streak of wins that she doesn't become a huge target. Things seem to be falling into a place and I'm thinking there are quite a few bigger personalities that draw more attention than her at the moment, but I think she has a good thing going with Ricky and Izzy. Her weakness, in my opinion, is her inability to connect with people on a deeper level, which makes it easier for people to use that as a cop-out excuse to distrust and turn on you. I know she's subconsciously (hell, maybe consciously) coming into this game waaaay more guarded because of her experiences in Tibet, but hopefully that baggage doesn't fuck her up in this game.
Izzy is just there, but playing her role very well. She seem unwaveringly loyal, but I'd be interested in seeing her separated from Ricky and Desi just to see her in a sink or swim situation. There has to be more layers to her than Desi and Ricky's flunky. I really want shit to go down so that she can make a move and make everyone's jaw drop lmfaooo.
Patia is an absolute wild card and will be interesting to watch separated from her main allies. My concern with her is that she is too laid back and will just let shit happen around her. She's not at the top of anyone's hit list, but if she gets sorted to the wrong side and people perceive her as being a part of something that she may not in reality be a part of, she will take the fall for it. She needs to get the talking and forging her own path and create her own destiny. There's a fire that's missing for me with Patia... if she ignites it, I can see myself being a super fan of hers, but at the moment, I'm just more puzzled and waiting for her to really identify what's going on around her.
Jay Jay Jay... you love to hate him. I commend the guy for constantly devising schemes, but sometimes I feel he gives himself more credit than he actually should. I'm not understanding his angle of forming an alliance with everyone on the tribe, especially considering he's not getting a lot of strategic talk back from about half of the tribe. Does he not think that they don't all talk to one another? Considering that Reynolds and Steph have kinda made the decision to go with Ricky's side and it seems that Desi and Izzy really trust them, he's sunk in this situation. He better make sure his tribe keeps winning those challenges or he's as good as gone. If he manages to slither his way through this phase into the next phase of the game, he will be TROUBLE. Talk about shit stirrer...
Fabi is another interesting wild card. Jay is his meat shield, but I'm not sure he's fully aware of that at this point. He doesn't have strong enough connections with anyone and I just think he isn't fostering enough trust in others to have them want to bring him in. BUT, I think he'll be pivotal down the line when someone needs that number. If his tribes can continue to win and he makes it to a merge situation, he will unintentionally fall into a good place and will need to just guide himself through that phase by making wise decisions on who to work with, which I'm honestly not sure he's capable of doing from what I'm seeing so far.
-----
Nicole's tribe is a hot mess, as usual. Kudos to Mandy, Shon, Travis and Dylan orchestrating a complete switch up to get Davis out, which strategically was genius, but now leaves a weird dynamic and a couple of loan wolves. I don't see this tribe doing well at challenges at all because there is no team camaraderie AT ALL.
Wtf is going on with Kate? It's like, you toss her out of her comfort zone and she has a complete meltdown. She's completely clueless as to what's ACTUALLY going on and is a huge target - she needs to get it together and get the talking and forging some deals or she's gone next. She's super lucky that she didn't get voted out this round. Like, some divine intervention stepped in and saved her ass because she was good as gone.
Shon is growing on me GAMEWISE - the perception is that he's fairly useless, but he seems to be dealing with the cards he was dealt fairly well and aligned himself right. I love how he has so much trust in Dylan, when before the swap, he basically was getting on his nerves and at the bottom of his list of people he'd want to fully work with and stick with. I don't think people is buying his "dumb" act, but rather, just see him as less of a threat than others at the moment. I don't think he's fostering the right kind of relationships that will get him through the long haul, but for right now, what he's doing is working.
Only time will tell if Dylan selected the right path at the crossroad, but for right now, he seems to be sitting in a good position. Still waiting to see how the whole Dylan/Nicole dynamic is going to fuck one of them over. Good thing about Nicole's tribes sucking ass so much is that people may not perceive her as being much of a threat, but rather, the entity of her and the other coaches more so as the threat, with Mandy and Ricky being the bigger threats. I think Nicole needs to actually start playing and working on her relationships with everyone in the game... like WHY IS SHE STILL NOT INVOLVED IN ANY STRATEGIC CONVERSATIONS WITH LIKE ANYONE ON HER TRIBE? WTF! There's an inevitable clash between the Ricky group and the group that Dylan is wrangling together... shit is bound to get messy in just a few rounds.
Carlos - BAI. I mean, there's nothing more to say... He's a fighter, but I just don't think he has the artillery needed to battle unless some kind of switch or something advantageous to him getting out of this current scenario. Strategically, I think it's prob best to keep him around because he's so transparent and isn't half as sneaky and strategic as some of the others.
While Mandy escaped this round, she still has an uphill battle ahead of her. She's not off the hook and I think people are still going to be gunning for her. She needs to look in her solid alliance and ride it for the time being until she can re-group again. But she has a VERY difficult game ahead of her.
On to Episode 5 confessionals!
